
Story Land is a family theme park in New Hampshire. They have offered rides and entertainment to thousands of families with young children for over 65 years.
Story Land is a kid friendly amusement park that features over 30 attractions perfect for making little ones smile. They also offer special events and family dining options that include character dinners and tea time! Story Land is the perfect fairy tale amusement park. They do offer senior discount tickets as well as military discount tickets for Story Land. Children 2 and under get free tickets to Story Land. Story Land does offer discounts for their admission tickets through their website. Check periodically as it does change and update. Do you enjoy capturing your memories? Story Land also offers Picture Pass! Their Souvenir Photo Value Pack offers a screaming photo on Roar-O-Saurus or a slide down Bamboo Chutes, the Souvenir Photo Value Pack. It is valid for a 5×7 print plus your choice of a second copy 5×7 (print or digital), photo ornament, photo key chain or photo magnet at any one photo booth. Story Land does offer a final 3 Hour, Next Day Free Program! Arrive within three hours to closing and get your next day free tickets to Story Land! However, this program is not being offered during the 2021 season. We recently had the opportunity to visit Story Land and had an amazing time! We put together a list of reasons why you should plan a visit to Story Land!

1. Shows

Story Land offers a few different shows. They are all included with your admission. Some of the shows include; The Royal Red Carpet, It’s Magic, Camp Fairy Tale, and Farm Follies Show.
2. Antique Cars

A must do for every child visiting. Let your children take the wheel as you sit back and enjoy your ride. Guided track, guest-operated antique cars that put the wind in your hair and the road at your back!
3. Games

Story Land offers games with prize awards. This is a bit different then some other theme parks. The games are scattered through the park. There is an additional cost to play.
The cost to play is affordable. Pictured is Humpty Dumpty Plinko located near the entrance. The cost is $2.00 for two token. You drop your tokens down and they fall into a number spot. Your numbers are then added together to equal what size prize you get. Prizes range from X-Small to X-Larger. Everyone walks away with a prize!
4. Splash Battle: Pharaoh’s Reign

Take a cruise on the 300ft. long waterway in a water cannon splash-blast for the whole family. This is a new fun family ride with a unique twist!
Visitors walking by can even get in on the fun! Grab a cannon and spray the ride goers. Watch out you might get splashed too! This ride is also wheelchair friendly!
5. Great Balloon Chase

Take it up, up and away! Hang on tight as you ride this high-flying Ferris wheel with family-sized gondola seating. This ride is also wheelchair friendly!
6. Oceans of Fun Sprayground

Get ready to cool off at the submarine. This unique water play area is where families explore in and around and all of its crazy components. You can either get a gentle mist or totally soaked. It’s up to you!
8. Turtle Twirl

These are some seriously fast turtles! It’s the fastest spin in the entire park! Get ready for some high-speed spinning cars on a revolving platform.
9. Roar-O-Saurus

The Roar-O-Saurus was specifically designed and built for Story Land’s unique natural setting! It’s the only wooden roller coaster of its kind in northern New England!
10. Crazy Barn

Ever seen a barn that raises itself off the ground and spins? Yeah, me neither until we visited Story Land! This has to be craziest barn in the country.
11. Visit A Village

Is this a small town in Belgium or the Netherlands? Nope, just a part of Story Land! You can even make your own ice cream sundae!
12. Dutch Shoes

Have your very own tour of the land of windmills and canals. From your very own flying Dutch shoe!
13. Visit an Old Western Town

Burrow deep into the dark and mysterious Los Bravos Silver Mine! You cam try your hand at “Panning for Gemstones” at the new Mining Company. Located right outside the Los Bravos Silver Mine!
14. Shopping

Story Land has plenty of opportunities to do some shopping! Some of the shops include;
- Yum Yum Junction- candy shop filled with sweets and treats, as well as a wide variety of apparel and toys. They also have a fudge counter where they make over 20 varieties of fudge to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth! It is located by the front train station that leads to the exit of the park.
- Miss Muffet’s Market- the largest shop with an even larger selection! Apparel, toys, plush, and souvenirs to remember your special day at Story Land can be found here. Essentials such as; sunscreen, batteries, diapers, cameras, and over the counter medication are also available. Miss Muffet’s is located at the front of the park.
- Let’s Pretend- a collection of costumes and accessories to bring imaginations to life. You can take home a personalized ornament to keep the magic of Story Land alive! Let’s Pretend is perfectly located in Cinderella’s Castle Area.
- Whistle Stop- find a world filled with train themed souvenirs, toys, & clothing plus several popular must-have gifts from around the park. Located in the middle of the park.
- Sluice- purchase different sacks of sand, stones, & other undiscovered treasures. Sift through your sand at Los Bravos Silver Mine to discover sparkling gems and fossils at this interactive attraction. This shop is located right next door to Let’s Pretend in Cinderella’s Castle Area.
15. Buccaneer Bay & Playground

Buccaneer Bay Playground is a fun themed area for kids to play and pretend just like a pirate! It is located next to the Buccaneer Pirate Ship.

16. Buccaneer Pirate Ship

Have you ever wanted to sail away with a friendly band of sea-faring Pirates? Here is your chance right here in Story Land!
17. Cinderella’s Castle

The only place in New England where you can enter Cinderella’s Castle! You can even do a meet and greet with Cinderella herself!
18. Cinderella’s Slipper

Cinderella’s Glass Slipper is on display at Story Land! It is located in Cinderella’s Castle.
19. Cinderella’s Pumpkin Coach

Who wouldn’t want a ride in their own Pumpkin Coach? We gladly took the opportunity. It’s a dream come true! Insider tip: Walk up to Cinderella’s Castle and take the coach ride from there. The wait time is much shorter.
20. Photo Op’s

Story Land has plenty of great photo opportunities. Don’t miss this one at Los Bravo’s Mine. Step through the rubber bars and smile!
21. Queen of Heart’s Kingdom

The Queen of Heart’s Kingdom is just another portion at Story Land. This leads the way to a petting zoo, playgrounds, and more rides!

22. Alice’s Tea Cups

Spin with the Mad Hatter on Alice’s Tea Cups. Go through the Looking Glass as you spin with the Mad Hatter or Alice herself in a tea cup!
23. Little Miss Muffet’s

Find out why Little Miss Muffet was so frightened while eating her curds and whey.
24. Mother Goose’s Manor

Mother Goose’s Manor is located inside the Little Dreamers Play Area. Join Mother Goose at her special house for Story Time, Meet & Greets, and photos throughout the day.
25. Meet Storybook Character’s

Meet some Story Land and Storybook characters. Here you see the Old Women in the Shoe. You can even take a tour through her shoe home!
26. Get A Storyland Driver’s License

Get your Story Land Driver’s License at the Town Hall. There is no minimum age here. A great fun way to remember your visit to Story Land. The cost is $10.00 currently. Located next to the Antique Cars.
27. Take A Souvenir Photo

Take a free souvenir photo at Story Land with your phone or camera. Frame is located next to The Town Hall near entrance.
